Welcome to Bootstraps Bootstraps a fan club for Bootstrap Bill Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean. He first is mentioned in the first movie but is not seen untill the second movie. He is portrayed by the actor Stellan Skarsgård.



About Bootstrap *Spoilers maybe if you havent seen POTC 1*

Bootstrap Bill is the long lost father of William Turner and was a pirate on the black pearl at the same time as Jack Sparrow, When Jack was munited against, he stuck up for him against the first mate Barbossa and as punishment was strapped by his shoe laces (hense the name Bootstrap) to a cannon and thrown into the sea. Bootstrap however was unable to die beacause of a curse which had been placed onto the crew and was forced to suffer underwater. It appears now that he made a deal with Davy Jones to free him from his watery prison but now if forced to work on the Flying Dutchman for a 100 years in return.

You do not have to submit artwork/fics to join this group, just being a fan of Bootstrap is enough <3 Art etc is optional ^_~
Fanart must include Bootstrap Bill or be about him XD
You can submit fanfiction to the club as well.
Please please please, if you are commenting/faving, please do so to the orignal artists page which is provided under the submission (It's only fair to the deviants who have spent time on it ^^).
Yaoi/Shonen-ai IS Allowed
If the club has favorited your artwork we cannot also add it to the club gallery without removing the favorite first. If you would like this to happen please note me.

CONTESTS

Since this a new club I figured that the first contest should be about introducing everyone to each other, so the first contest shall be for you as a member of the club to do draw yourself as a crew member of the Flying Dutchman with Bootstrap (and any other members) along with your chosen pirate title.

Winner of the compy will have their artwork as the featured deviatation untill the next compy.
